Kay's Sweet Delights

Hi and welcome to "Kay's Sweet Delights"! I'm Karissa, aka Kay. I am the owner and baker. I have been baking ever since I can remember. As a child I had an illness that caused me to be at home many of my childhood/teen and some college years. I had to find things to do at home and the food channel was one thing that joy to me so I always had it on, On my good days I would experiment with new and exciting recipes. They might have not always turned out perfect but that is where the spark was made for my passion for food and baking. This passion of mine developed and when I became healthy I got my first job at a bakery. I went on to culinary school and graduated with the baking a pastry award. After graduating I was the Lead Baker at a gourmet cookie shop for many years. Now I have ventured out to my own cottage bakery! I love being able to use my own artist imagination. I don't find many things in life more rewarding that a smile on my client's face after they see the dessert I baked for them. I find all my inspiration from the Lord and give him all the glory. My husband, Jason, is also a big part of Kay's. He's out marketing, deliverying and helping out in any way possible.
